Modern Stationary Banner

Hey! I must apologize for my lack of posts these past three weeks!  We are at the end of the school year and it has been B.U.S.Y!  Lol!

Today I wanted to post a pic of one of my featured tutorials on the Spellbinders blog, make sure to go check it out HERE.

And here is a different variant of the same banner with a more Victorian feel.

Just curious: Which one do you like better?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Ruffles are in!

Hey, there!  A quick post showing the baby shower cake I made yesterday.

And all I can say is that ruffles are super trendy right now!  This customer wanted and all white cake with ruffles on it and that's what she got.  ;)  The cake was covered in fondant and then decorated with fondant ruffles and fondant bow.

I keep tossing around the idea of doing some short tutorial videos on some cake decorating techniques but that will most definitely have to wait until school is out!  LOL!

That's it for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Scor-Pal "More than one Score" May Challenge.

Alright everyone, break out your Scor-pal and join us for this month's More Than One Score challenge!  Go HERE to the Scor-pal blog for all the details.  :)  This month's theme is to create a project using more than one score and a stamped image.

I scored an 5 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2" as shown below.

For the narrow front flap, score at 1/2" intervals creating a grid.

Using a Fiskars ribbon punch, punch the edge of the flap and thread ribbon through.

Those gorgeous blooms are from a Fun Stamper's Journey stamp set called "Spring Garden" colored with Copics.  :)

Thanks bunches for stopping by!  I am making a baby shower cake this evening so stay tuned for a cake post!
