A little jewelry crafting :)

Hey, y'all!  Today I have a couple of bracelets I made last night.  I was at Hobby Lobby perusing their beading aisle and came upon this beauty of a project page:
I love nature inspired jewelry and this bracelet was calling my name (and those cute earrings, too!).  :) I had a few beads at home already that I knew would work so after purchasing the adorable dragonfly and filigree bead caps, I got to work!

Here is how it turned out:
I totally love it!

Here is an up-close shot of the wire wrapping that I think adds such a fun, industrial chicness to it.  :)

To create the hook on the clasp, you simply bend the dragonfly's tail inward with a pair of round nose pliers.  Isn't that so fun?

I had made a bracelet a looooooooong time ago but it wasn't quite large enough and broke pretty quickly.  I'd been storing the beads waiting for a time to put it back together and I finally did so!  It is VERY basic but I love the size, color and texture of the beads.
I used a magnetic clasp to finish it off (one of my favorite clasps!).

Well, thanks so much for stopping by for this "beading edition" of MadetoCreate!  Lol!
