SSIC #99 -Sponsored by Layers of Color!
Hi, everyone! Today (and throughout this week) Layers of Color is sponsoring the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge! That means if you are the lucky winner, you get one of the LOC newly released stamp sets!
The challenge this week was to create a card using a black and white (or ivory) color scheme (super easy--you can do it!) Here is the card I made for it:
Well, I must say I got a little carried away with all my stamp usage! It has just been such a long time since I've sat down and created something purely out of the desire to create (and not a deadline or specific stamps!). I find that I do my best when I have no restrictions. Can any of you relate? Well, you know I am a HUGE Layers of Color fan. I just love just about every single on of their stamp sets and also love to mix and match them--they just work so well together!
Here is a close up of the chicken wire teacup:
In this section of my card you can see that gorgeous new release "Chicken wire teacup", a butterfly from "Butterfly Collector", and some eggs from the adorable "Rise and Shine."
Here is another close up:
In this section, you can see the "blessings" sentiment straight from the new release "Artful Endearments", my favorite flourish of all time from "Nature Walk", and a cross from "Gothic Crosses."
LOL! I told you I went a little stamp crazy! I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today and that it inspires you to take some time and just be creative!
Blessings on your day,
