A few Challenges and that lovely DP again :)
Hi, there! You know something I've seen done over and over again but have never sat down and tried to figure it out is participating in multiple challenges. Well, I had a wee little bit of time yesterday and I figured out I could successfully (I think!) participate in three challenges! Not much in comparison to some seasoned stampers but a first for me! :) First up is Card Patterns Sketch 109. Look at this adorable sketch Nina Brackett came up with:
Second, a first for me, The Shabby Tea Room!!! I've been a follower of their super shabby blog for a little while now but just now am able to participate in their challenges! I love all things shabby so how could I not love this site! Anyway, their challenge for the week is to create a project based on the colors in this photo:
Also, Stampin' Sisters in Christ has a challenge to make a card with a child in mind so here is my card incorporating those three challenges:
I used that lovely DP that I got from my LSS again--I just can't get enough of that gorgeous paper!
Now, that darling baby image is from Layers of Color's "Flower Child" clear art stamp set. Don't you just love it? This set is so vintage and whimsical at the same time, you must check it out! Those beautiful rose buttons were a LSS find, "the girls' paperie". The die behind the baby is one of the accents from Spellbinder's "Parisian Accents"--love this die set!
Layers of Color has some wonderful sentiment stamp sets. I used their "Sent With Love" clear art stamp set to create this sentiment.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by!
