Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop
Hi, Everyone! If you've come from Giovana's blog you're in the right place! If not, make sure start over at StampTV so that you don't miss out on all our Spring-y inspiration!
The Gina K Designs team would like to welcome to you this special Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop! Recently Spellbinders generously gifted each member of our Design Team with the amazing new Grand Calibur!!! What an exciting gift for sure and we are absolutely enjoying this fabulous machine! We have made some special cards and projects to showcase the new Grand Calibur and why we are loving it so much!!
Thank you so very much Spellbinders!!!
The theme for our hop is "Spring." Here in Texas Spring is definitely in the air! We have been enjoying some wonderful Spring weather, flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping! For my thank you card to Spellbinders I decided to go with a nice clean and crisp look. There is something about Spring that just refreshes the soul and speaks of new beginnings. Kind of like a clean slate type of feeling. I just love it!
So, here is the card I made that goes along those lines:
So, what do you think? Fresh, clean, new beginnings. Yes! ;)
Since we are spotlighting Spellbinders on this hop, I just had to just my favorite Labels Nine die for this card. Nina Brackett's Lovely Labels 1 stamp set coordinates with this die set and offered just the right natural image for our theme. I used Tsukineko Memento inks and the butterfly and leaves came from Theresa Momber's Hope Grows stamp set. The sentiment came from a recent Gina K Designs stamp set, Framed Greetings.
Well, ever since Spellbinders came out with the GRAND dies and the GRAND Calibur to cut them with I just had to have them! I love the versatility of the Grand Calibur! Not only can you cut bigger dies with it, you can also cut down your work by cutting multiple dies on one go! Nice!
Thank you Spellbinders!
Now, off you go to Jennie's blog for more inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by!
