Stamping Sisters in Christ Challenge #18

So, I've decided to once a week or so do an online card challenge. Basically, there are different websites that will post weekly, monthly, sometimes daily challenges for people to participate in either for some sort of "prize" or simply just for the fun of saying your were chosen as that weeks winner or whatnot. Anyway, this week I am participating in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #18. You can go here: to find out more about them if it so interests you! :) It was a basic "sketch" challenge since it is the week of Christmas. A sketch challenge is when they post a sketch of what the card should look like and you do your best to create a card that followers the design they came up with.

Here is the sketch they gave followed by my take on it. What do ya think?

I really love it! I love the lamp post, kind of a nod to carolers (in my opinion).

Thanks Jenni! I love that lamp, too! It came from a stamp set with lots of lamps and lamp posts in it. I've been waiting to get to use them. :)
