November Bloom Box and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!  I hope you are all enjoying wonderful family time and maybe getting some crafting in! (I know you crafty peeps!) ;)

Today I wanted to review our Fun Stampers Journey November Bloom Box.  The stamp set is so adorable and perfect for this month, and really, for anyone that enjoyed pie! ;)
Isn't is adorable?

Now here are the cards I made using this month's kit.  I didn't change much at all!
With this one, I added the gold Journey Silk.

Here I added the cinnamon sticks to the background as well as changed up the way the twine was used.

This one is my favorite!!! Don't those pies look scrumptious?!  Didn't change a thing here!

Kept this one as is, too!

Aren't those fun?  Makes me hungry! Lol!

For my November Bloom Box review check out the video below.

Starting from the Same Place: Artist Collaboratio

Hi, everyone!  My poor bloggy has been so neglected lately! I have been increasing my presence on YouTube so much that this little guy has taken the back seat. Sad.  ;)  Well, today is a different story!  A month or so ago I joined about sixty other ladies in creating a mixed media piece using the same set of materials sent to each of us.  I was excited to see what the materials would be and how each of the sixty artists would use them!

So, to be completely honest I really struggled with finding inspiration using these items BUT I love a good challenge and went at it!

Sponsors for this collaboration were:
Beacon Adhesives
Amazing Casting Products
StencilGirl Products

I used my much loved Fun Stampers Journey acrylic paints to add color to my piece in: Cool Pool, River Stone and Buttercream.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to check out all the other amazing pieces in this artist collaboration by going HERE.

Blessings,
Janice :)

Be Happy Be Bright

Hi, there!  Today I am participating in a CASology challenge!  I have been wanting to get back into card challenges and was finally able to hop back on! Here is this week's cue card:

This card challenge drew my attention because it is all about clean and simple cards!  My favorite!  Here are their official guidelines"
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
So, with all that in mind, here is what I created!

I do not have the knack of taking pics with mostly white  in them!  Sadly, my yellow looks orange.  Boo.  But, that's ok. In person it looks great!  Lol!

If interested in any of the products used in created this card just let me know!  I am a Fun Stampers Journey coach and am happy to help!  Visit my website: www.funstampersjourney.com/janicewhiting for more information! :)

Pan Pastels Confectionery Days- part 2

Alright, so here is the second card and video I created showcasing our Confectionery Days pan pastels!  :)  This card is a bit different in how many layers and embellishments it has compared to the previous card but still packs a powerful visual punch.  :) I used Pan Pastel Pool Play to create the sky background (SUPER easy) and then stamped over it.

Check out my video on how I created this card:

On Trend

Hey, there! Today I have a pretty "on trend" card and video tutorial that I would love to share with you! For awhile now, wherever you go its seems you see beautiful combinations of black and white stripes with bouquets of bright flowers. I have always been drawn to how pretty that combination is so I thought I would give it a try. And, of course, I am highlighting one of my current favorite mediums to play with, Pan Pastels!

Super fun, no?!  :)

Here is a video showing exactly how I put this beauty together, check it out!

Check out this video showing how I used those three products to create this and a few other cards.
